POOL CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

POOL DRAINING
There are several factors that would lead to a pool drain. Most commonly, it’s due to high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). Over time, TDS increases and when you reach a level of 2500 ppm, you start to lose the ability to balance the pool water. This will cause you to add more chemicals unnecessarily. Depending on the quality of your fill water and the quality of chemicals you typically add, you should expect to drain your pool every 3 to 5 years.
ACID WASHING
If your pool was poorly maintained in the past or has had stagnant water which turned into an algae bloom, algae and phosphates can become embedded in your pool’s finish, making it nearly impossible to get rid of. Acid washing your pool removes any algae or phosphates that are not otherwise removed with chemicals. When finished, the acid washing process gives your pool a clean, fresh new finish and clear, sparkling water.
